GOOGLE'S INTERVIEW QUESTIONS 4 U !!

recently i had seen a AD regarding opening in Google inc . and i did apply too :)

but yet no reply till now, still i just thought how would be the interview procedure in this IT Giant, internet giant, Google?? so i started reading all experiences and now i am here with few impressive questions. See if you can answer them. Many are open ended with several right answers, therefore I did not provide the answers.

TRY 2 ANSWER THESE !! AND ONE MORE THING - "u wont find solutions for these even if u search in GOOGLE " (i've tried !!)

1. How many golf balls can fit in a school bus?

2. You are shrunk to the height of a nickel and your mass is proportionally reduced so as to maintain your original density. You are then thrown into an empty glass blender. The blades will start moving in 60 seconds. What do you do?

3. How much should you charge to wash all the windows in Bangalore?

4. How would you find out if a machine’s stack grows up or down in memory?

5. Explain a database in three sentences to your eight-year-old nephew.

6. How many times a day does a clock’s hands overlap?

7. You have to get from point A to point B. You don’t know if you can get there. What would you do?

8. Imagine you have a closet full of shirts. It’s very hard to find a shirt. So what can you do to organize your shirts for easy retrieval?

9. Every man in a village of 100 married couples has cheated on his wife. Every wife in the village instantly knows when a man other than her husband has cheated, but does not know when her own husband has. The village has a law that does not allow for adultery. Any wife who can prove that her husband is unfaithful must kill him that very day. The women of the village would never disobey this law. One day, the queen of the village visits and announces that at least one husband has been unfaithful. What happens?

10. In a country in which people only want boys, every family continues to have children until they have a boy. if they have a girl, they have another child. if they have a boy, they stop. what is the proportion of boys to girls in the country?

11. If the probability of observing a car in 30 minutes on a highway is 0.95, what is the probability of observing a car in 10 minutes (assuming constant default probability)?

12. If you look at a clock and the time is 3:15, what is the angle between the hour and the minute hands? (The answer to this is not zero!)

13. You are at a party with a friend and 10 people are present including you and the friend. your friend makes you a wager that for every person you find that has the same birthday as you, you get 10 rupee; for every person he finds that does not have the same birthday as you, he gets 20 rupee. would you accept the wager?

14. How many piano tuners are there in the entire world?

15. You have eight balls all of the same size. 7 of them weigh the same, and one of them weighs slightly more. How can you find the ball that is heavier by using a balance and only two weighings?

16. You have five pirates, ranked from 5 to 1 in descending order. The top pirate has the right to propose how 100 gold coins should be divided among them. But the others get to vote on his plan, and if fewer than half agree with him, he gets killed. How should he allocate the gold in order to maximize his share but live to enjoy it? (Hint: One pirate ends up with 98 percent of the gold.)

Do you still think you have what it takes to work for Google?

if yes go for it, if no search other jobs using google !!!

TOP 10 Tips for Concentration and Memory

wats use studying without concentration or memory ?? in allocating memory for academics i always remember 1 guy (saggy) who used 2 remembr like he had a 1gb card in his head !!

any ways these things apart,

10 suggestions 2 improve ur memory..!!
(y only 10 tips?? coz,i don remembr the other !! )

1. First realize and become aware of how important it is to develop the skill of concentration and memory.

2. Do not always trust your memory. Write your ideas, goals and important information down on paper. Anything you need to get accomplished, create a To Do list.

3. Use the formula…Think It, Ink It, Link It and Sink It.

4. Create an affirmation to build memory and concentration. Many people say “I can never remember names” or “I have such a bad memory.” These will only reinforce your belief in having a bad memory. Instead, create a positive affirmation and say “I have an amazing memory and I remember names with ease.” Once you “act as if” you have great concentration and memory, you will have great concentration and memory.

5. The use of your imagination is a key factor in remembering any names, places or things. When remembering, amplify whatever it is you want to remember. Make it bigger, bolder and louder so it impresses upon your memory.

6. Clean up any clutter or messes in your life. Any unresolved business will turn your attention away from what it is you need to remember.

7. Set goals for yourself. Once you set a goal, your mind will automatically accept it into the subconscious and recalling important information will become easier.

8. Listen to others…Look Intent, Stop Talking, Embrace Naturally. This way, you will absorb what others are saying and it will be easier to recall.

9. When remembering, take a deep breath in, exhale and relax. This will allow you to release any tension and resistance, thus enabling you to concentrate without trying.

10. Read books and study how your memory works.

if ne other tip u know, do comment :-)

Top 5 ways to end a friendship

1. Talk about how much you make per month.

This is a tough one. The way it works is simple. People like to have pride in their work. They also like to think that others don’t work as hard as they do. So when you talk to your friend about how you make 20 k  an month to move boxes from point a to point b, and he makes15 k an month to shovel horse manure, it makes the person feel like crap. So keep money to yourself, and that leads to number 2.

2. Never loan money out.
I know that everyone falls on hard times, myself included. The one thing that I know for certain is that if you loan money out, no matter how small, can crumble a friendship if it never gets paid back. That one is from experience.

3. Talk religion.
The fascinating thing about our culture is our diversity. Some believe in God, others believe in karma, some believe nothing. Talk about that, and your on your way toward the exit sign

4. Talk politics.
With the primary elections finally coming to an end, and starting out in the next leg, its really hard not to talk politics. It is very hard to do though. 22 percent of people in the exit polls said that race played a role in their voting. Remember that only half the people tell the truth coming out of those exit polls, so its more like 44 percent. And that leads us to our next topic.

5.Never talk about race.
Again, we are a very diverse people, and that is terrific that we can look beyond ethnic or social boundaries and see people for who they are and not what they are. This is a rough subject because of the fact that there are still people that have a hard time just keeping their thoughts in their own head.

There you have it. If I forgot anything let me know, These are just my own personal top 5. !!
